SCAR PLOUGH SPECIFICATION

The SCAR plough has a variable pre-set depth capability (nominal 1.4m)/ variable trench. Its weight in air circa is 18 tonnes. It has a 150 tonne pull capability, better cut for a given tow force ratio allow smaller vessels to be used. The plough also has a multi pass capability and remedial capability. The plough has a variable soils capability (clays, silts and sands). Another aspect of the plough is the high power to weight ratio.
