The SCAR plough is simple yet effective tool. SCAR is low maintenance, quick and cost effective to mobilise and demobilise. SCAR is the only multi-pass cable plough in the world and is suitable for all soil types. There is no crane or A-frame required for the launch of plough in pre-cut mode. It's handled like a conventional anchor, hence no handling system required. The design of SCAR can be tailored to suit a wide variety of products.

One of the most important features of the SCAR plough is its risk reducing technique of ploughing. The method of ploughing used means that the pipeline/cable is not actually picked up until the very last pass. There is significantly less chance of damaging the pipe/cable and considerably more chance of meeting the specification.
