The experience and knowledge gained from the subsea and marine oil and gas sector has allowed Ecosse Subsea to offer our clients specific expertise pertaining to offshore construction, QHSE and commercial and contract management
Our list of services include:
Pre Construction Phase
- Preparation of FEED studies specifically in relation to offshore construction activities including cable lay, burial and subsea works.
- Preparation of tender packages
- Evaluation of tender submissions (technical, commercial and contractual), through to contract award
- Geotechnical engineering
- Environmental engineering
Construction Phase
- Project Management (Provision of an integrated project team to manage the offshore construction contractor through to offshore completion). The project team will cover all technical, commercial and QHSE aspects.
- Pre-commissioning.

Wave Power Technology and opportunities
"Ecosse Subsea Systems has developed a technology for wave powered devices which are capable of producing several MW per device. Using a unique concept these devices are able to extract power from very small waves and to survive storm conditions.
ESS are in discussions with several academic institutions regarding the next stage of development which will involve computer based modelling and tank testing. ESS seek a partner to co-fund and develop the technology."
