Mike Wilson

Mike is a successful entrepreneur with a 10 year record of delivery in various operational roles and latterly 12 years building innovative and profitable businesses at senior management level.

Mike graduated in 1985 with an HND in Mechanical Engineering from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and is the founder of Ecosse Subsea Systems and other marine engineering companies which own patented cable landing concepts and technologies. Mike has 22 years international experience in the oil and gas and subsea cable sectors. Trusted with many leading edge projects, he had his first command as Offshore Manager of a heavy construction vessel aged 25 and was the UK's leading profit earning Project Manager for McDermott.

Mike is Managing Director of Ecosse Subsea Systems Limited a Company founded in 1996, which develops new technologies and provides consulting services mainly to the subsea construction and engineering sector. Ecosse Subsea's consulting work is today increasingly centred on providing technical, commercial and contractual support relating to subsea construction projects and the provision of claim and dispute strategy advice technologies for ESS and customers. Further more Mike has a real passion for inventing and developing marine and subsea technologies
